ESCAPE PROUDLY PRESENTS. . . .
Cardiff LIT Lesbian Book Club
(Limited spaces available, once they’ve gone, they’ve gone!)
Welcome to Cardiff LIT Club, a sapphic book club to meet and discuss lesbian literature, meet new people, have a few laughs and make lasting connections.
There is a very warm welcome to all, this book club is aimed at those who identify at Sapphic (which of course warmly includes our trans and NB community who sit under the sapphic umbrella).
ABOUT Cardiff LIT Club . . .
Cardiff Lit Club is a fun, friendly, relaxed gang of people who come together for regular bi-monthly book clubs! There’s a warm welcome to all and tickets are free.
Each meeting will discuss a new book over a drink in a relaxed atmosphere.
It’s a chilled out book club where you can contribute as much or as little as you like to the group discussion. All opinions are valid so don’t be shy! Each meeting will discuss a new book over a drink in a relaxed atmosphere so whether you’re an avid reader or you just fancy trying something new, you’ll be very welcome!
**Novembers pick is ‘The Night Watch’ by Sarah Waters
Also NEW as per your feedback feel free to discuss beforehand in the new what’s app group: https://chat.whatsapp.com/CXIOrb6719g48FFo6skqvI?mode=ac_t
Eventbrite tickets can be found here.
We will be meeting at the KIN + ILK in PONTCANNA (on Cathedral Road). The venue is happy to host us for free, so long as we support them by buying tea/coffee/cake. Please do buy at the venue as it is VERY hard to find spaces that allow us to meet up for free. So to keep Cardiff LIT Club going for free, please do buy a drink! 🙂
